Unlike many other companies, the foundation of GMS was not initiated by the idea of a successful entrepreneur. Instead, it is based on the desire, of one of our earliest customers, for professional services in the area of AV technology and video conferencing.
How it all started…
Our History

In 2003, a major investment in new and innovative audiovisual technology for meeting rooms in the office towers of a strong international finance group in Frankfurt was undertaken. A capable service provider for this company could not be found despite intensive searching. Quickly the need for a professional business being in charge of the operations of AV technology was raised – the birth of GMS.

After only acting on behalf of this single key account in the first years, a new shareholder and new management joined GMS in 2008. From this point on, the long-time technical experience and the professional services were made available for other customers too, and an international expansion has strived.

Currently, GMS employs more than 100 people permanently and operates in different international locations. Our customers include a large number of renowned international companies, among them several DAX-listed corporations.
